Imagine waking up in the morning and not having to waste time fiddling with mascara and makeup, Lash extensions are worth it!
Eyelash extensions are not bad for you. Lashes are 100% safe for you and your natural lashes, they won’t cause any harm when performed correctly and by a properly trained professional.
Lash extensions are applied to each and every natural lash. They work by being dipped into a small amount of glue and attached away from the base of the natural lash to ensure that they still have room to grow. They grow out with your natural lashes, this is why we recommend an infill at that 2 or 3 week mark.
Have your found yourself asking, What eyelashes should I get? What eyelashes would suit me? Will they suit small eyes?
If you answered yes, then you’ve come to the right place.
There are endless amount of lash styles, lengths and curls. At the start of your appointment we will have a consult and I will ask you lots of questions, like…
"Do you want volume? Length, just black, or some colours too? More natural but still noticeable, more dramatic?..." and many, many more questions.
Here at Central Clinic there is always something for everyone, so be sure to ask me lots of questions or even come with a reference photo!
When it comes to picking a style there are a few different lash styles out there but the most common styles are ‘Dolly’ and ‘Kitten’. These are the base for any more advanced lash style!
The ‘Dolly’ styles helps to lift and open up the eyes, perfect for those with narrow eyes, wide set eyes and / or eyes that have a drooping effect. (Pictured to the right).
The ‘Kitten’ style helps to elongate the eyes, by creating a sweeping effect upwards and outwards this style lifts and lengthens the eyes. (Pictured to the left).
If you are unsure what may suit you, don’t stress, that’s what I’m here for! With extensive training and years of experience I can look at your eyes and know what will suit you!
Reminder to get your lashes wet! Keeping your lashes clean and getting them wet helps with the longevity of them. Removing excess oils, makeup and skin build up will aid in the best retention you’ve ever seen!
If you find yourself picking, pulling or tugging on your lashes, remember they can be removed!! Allergic reactions are rare, but they do happen. If you find yourself having an allergic reaction to lash extensions this can result in swollen and itchy eyelids and can cause inflamed lash lines. Lash extensions do not cause styes, blepharitis or pink eye.
