Brow Lamination - It shouldn't be scary

Updated: Jan 28

80% of my clients have said to me they’re nervous or scared to try a brow lamination, they think their brows will be pushed straight up and dyed black…

Let me take you through what a brow lamination appointment will look like with me.

Firstly, let talk about how it works. I will be applying two different solutions that are both applied to your eyebrows for up to 12 minutes each, depending on your hair type.

The first solution will break down the bonds inside the hair follicle, making the brow hairs flexible and easy to move.

Once I remove that solution I will then mark your brows up and brush them into the desired shape (which we will go over at the start of your appointment, during your consult).

Following this, the second solution is applied, this rebuilds the bonds and infuses the follicle with an ultra hydrating serum to ensure your brows stay healthy.

Once I've removed the second solutions, I will tint or dye your brows (again, depending on what we talked about during your consult). Followed by a shaping, tweeze, brow oil and concealer. Easy as that!!!

Brow laminations tend to last up-to 8 weeks (no they’re not permanent), this is dependant on your natural hair cycle and how often you wash / touch your face. I recommend getting your lamination done every 8 to 10 weeks to ensure all the hairs have fully grown out!

Keep in mind that a brow lamination does not fix uneven brows, that comes down to the skills of your brow tech. Be sure to do proper research when choosing where to go to get this service as it can be performed incorrectly. Hence why so many of my clients are nervous to get it, they’ve seen “Brow laminations gone wrong’ all over social media. Fear not, laminations can be reversed if you find yourself coming to me in need of help!

When performed correctly and by a fully trained professional, brow lamination is not bad for you, it does NOT cause damage to your brow hairs nor does it cause hair loss. If you notice this is happening to you, you may want to double check your brow tech is properly trained and is using products that work with you and your needs.

Brow lamination is safe to get while pregnant and / or breast feeding. We will add some more pillows under your back for extra comfort and you can always ask to sit up and or stretch out during your appointment!!

At Central Clinic you will get a brow lamination, personalised brow mapping to ensure those brows are even, a customised tint or dye, brow shaping including a wax, tweeze and trim and to finish off this treatment I add brow oil and concealer! All of this in 45 minutes and for $90.
